Discover the Sierra Norte de Sevilla
The Natural Park of the Sierra Norte is located north of the province of Sevilla, described as a mid-mountain region. It has great environmental value so that it is included as a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO. Located in an area bordering the South Countryside (Badajoz), with the province of Cordoba, Seville Metropolitan District and west of the Sierra de Huelva .. We speak therefore a strategic point that allows a unique area in province of Sevilla and its location is at a crossroads that allows us to reach different parts of the south of the Iberian peninsula.
Within this magnificent region include:
- Forest Park in Almaden de la Plata
- Cascades in the River Huéznar, declared a natural monument
- Cerro del Hierro, an ancient iron mine adapted to hiking and climbing
What can you do in the Sierra Norte?
Sierra Norte de Sevilla natural park is the perfect place for sports such as hiking or nordic walking (it has up to 18 routes routes available). It´s a great place to practice bird watching. Climbing enthusiasts can visit the Cerro del Hierro and adventurers nothing better than the ‘Via Verde’ in the Sierra Norte.
